Neonatal / SCBU Nurses >
Description.
Provide safe, specialist nursing care for premature and unwell newborns in Special Care Baby Units, supporting feeding, observations, treatment plans, and family communication within neonatal services.
Key Requirements.
Experience.
NMC-registered Children’s Nurse (or Adult Nurse with neonatal experience) with a minimum of 2 years’ SCBU or neonatal care experience.
Skilled in supporting infants requiring special care, including thermoregulation, feeding support (NG, bottle, breastfeeding), phototherapy, oxygen therapy, and neonatal observations.
Experience working collaboratively with neonatal teams, paediatricians, and family-support services.
Qualifications.
NMC registration as a Children’s Nurse or Adult Nurse with relevant neonatal experience.
Neonatal care training preferred.
Safeguarding Children Level 3 required or willingness to complete.

Two recent clinical references.
Up-to-date NHS Statutory & Mandatory Training.
Immunisation compliance.
NMC PIN and registration check.
Qualification and employment history verification.
