Description.
Provide nursing care within nursing homes, residential care services, and long-term care environments. Support residents with complex health needs, long-term conditions, medication management, and day-to-day clinical oversight, maintaining safe standards of care across elderly, frailty, and dementia pathways
Key Requirements.
Experience.
Minimum 1–2 years’ post-registration experience in nursing homes, residential care, community nursing, or adult medical care.
Skilled in medication administration, wound care, care planning, chronic disease management, and supporting residents with physical or cognitive decline.
Experience working within multidisciplinary teams including GPs, community nurses, therapists, and care home staff.
Familiar with safeguarding procedures, CQC standards, and care-home clinical governance requirements.
Qualifications.
Full registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as an Adult Nurse.
Additional training in dementia care, long-term condition management, or frailty desirable.
CPD in nursing-home practice, safeguarding, and elderly care pathways.
Compliance and Vetting.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
Full identity and right-to-work verification.
Two recent clinical references.
Up-to-date NHS Statutory and Mandatory Training (accepted by both NHS and private care providers).
Immunisation compliance for clinical and residential environments.
Full NMC registration and fitness-to-practise check.
Verification of qualifications and employment history.
