Description.
Provide specialist physiotherapy assessment and rehabilitation across NHS hospitals, community services, outpatient clinics, and specialist pathways. Support recovery from acute illness, injury, surgery, neurological conditions, respiratory conditions, and long-term musculoskeletal problems through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Key Requirements.
Experience.
Minimum 1–2 years’ post-registration experience delivering physiotherapy in hospital, community, or specialist clinical settings.
Skilled in assessment, rehabilitation planning, therapeutic exercise prescription, chest physiotherapy (where trained), and supporting complex patient presentations.
Experience working within MDTs including OTs, nurses, doctors, and rehabilitation teams across acute, community, and specialist care.
Familiar with NICE guidance, CSP standards, and clinical pathways for MSK, respiratory, orthopaedic, neurological, and rehabilitation services.
Qualifications.
BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy or recognised equivalent.
Full HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
CPD in MSK, respiratory, neurological, or specialist physiotherapy techniques.
Compliance and Vetting.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
Full identity and right-to-work verification.
Two recent professional references.
Up-to-date NHS Statutory and Mandatory Training.
Immunisation compliance for hospital and community clinical environments.
Full HCPC registration and fitness-to-practise check.
Verification of qualifications and employment history.
