Description.
Provide specialist dietetic assessment, nutritional care planning, and evidence-based dietary interventions across NHS hospitals, community services, outpatient clinics, and specialist pathways. Support safe nutritional management for acute, chronic, and complex clinical conditions.
Key Requirements.
Experience.
Minimum 1–2 years’ post-registration experience delivering dietetic services within hospital or community clinical settings.
Skilled in nutritional assessment, care planning, enteral feeding, and supporting specialist pathways such as oncology, gastroenterology, diabetes, critical care, or paediatrics.
Experience contributing to MDTs, supporting patient-centred nutrition care, and managing complex caseloads.
Familiar with NICE guidance, BDA standards, and clinical dietetic protocols.
Qualifications.
BSc (Hons) Dietetics or postgraduate qualification leading to HCPC registration.
Full HCPC registration as a Dietitian.
CPD in clinical dietetics, nutritional support, specialist pathways, and evidence-based practice.
