Description.
Provide specialist aseptic and cytotoxic pharmacy services within NHS aseptic units and clean-room environments. Support safe preparation, checking, and governance of chemotherapy, parenteral nutrition, CIVAS, and other high-risk injectable products in accordance with MHRA and GMP standards.
Key Requirements.
Experience.
Minimum 2 years’ post-registration experience in aseptic services, cytotoxic preparation, or SACT-related aseptic pharmacy.
Skilled in aseptic checking, worksheet verification, clean-room processes, and preparation of high-risk injectable products.
Experience working within GMP-compliant environments, supporting quality, safety, and production standards.
Familiar with SACT governance, QA processes, deviations, and clean-room operating procedures.
Qualifications.
Pharmacy degree
Aseptic preparation or GMP qualification held
Compliance and Vetting.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
Full identity and right-to-work verification.
Two recent professional references.
Up-to-date NHS Statutory and Mandatory Training.
Immunisation compliance for aseptic and clean-room environments.
Full GPhC registration and fitness-to-practise check.
Verification of qualifications and employment history.
